Last updated: 16 July 2026. This policy applies to certifiedpoolcompliance.com.au and to Certified Pool Compliance's handling of personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
When you submit an enquiry or booking form on this site, we collect your name, phone number, email address, suburb, state, the service you've requested and any details you choose to add in the message field. We do not collect payment card details through this website.
We use this information only to respond to your enquiry, schedule and carry out your inspection, issue and lodge compliance certificates with the relevant state register or council, and send you renewal reminders ahead of certificate expiry. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Certificate and inspection details are shared with the relevant state authority or council register (QBCC Pool Safety Register in QLD, the NSW Swimming Pool Register, or the applicable Victorian council) where required to lodge a certificate. We may share limited details with a trusted trade referral only if you ask us to arrange rectification work. We do not otherwise disclose your information to third parties except where required by law.
This website does not currently use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes in future, this policy will be updated to describe what is collected and how to opt out.
We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We retain enquiry and certificate records for as long as reasonably necessary for compliance, record-keeping and legal obligations, then securely delete them.
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by contacting us at [email protected]. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
